Yuki Kajita, a 22 year old junior at Kagoshima University, said he was bent on suicide was arrested Saturday for overturning a highway bus and injuring 12 people after he seized control of the steering wheel. A substitue driver who was on the bus tried to stop the student, but Kajita again took the wheel. Passengers held Kajita down until police arrived. Kajita was quoted as shouting after the bus overturned: “Everybody will die. Please kill me.” I wish the passengers a quick recovery, and I hope Kajita sees the error in his ways. More »
