Child actress Ashida Mana has recently been chosen as the new MC for Nihon TV’s, “Meringue no Kimochi.“ After gaining popularity from her previous drama and movie, Ashida will be challenging herself by becoming the youngest MC. She said, “I want to ask the guests what they wanted to be when they were my age.” As she will be joining Hisamoto Masami and Ito Asako, Ashida shared her dream saying, “I want to do a conte with them.”

Producer Hojo Nobuki said, “I want her to ask the guests things an adult wouldn’t think about. I want her to freely say whatever that is on her mind. I think it will be entertaining to watch unexpected things happen.” Ashida stated, “I will be happy if I can have enjoyable conversations with Hisamoto-san, Ito-san, and the guests.” Ashida will be appearing on the show starting on October 1st.
