From Ningin: Some of the spring season anime has already begun. Most of it looks pretty boring though. The only series I’m really interested in is Arakawa Under the Bridge. I have watched Heroman and B Gata H Kei though, and didn’t like them. Heroman might get better, but I only watched B Gata H Kei because of the intriguing description. More »

I’m going to start a series of recaps for the three most anticipated Jdramas of Spring 2010. First, Sunao ni Narenakute or Hard to Say I Love You stars Eita, Juri Ueno and DBSK’s Jaejoong. Second is Kaibutsu-kun which stars Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi and is based on the manga/anime, which I have sadly never heard of until now. Third, Takuya Kimura, whom I will refer to as KimuTaku, stars in Tsuki no Koibito (Moon Lovers). The all star cast includes Shota Matsuda (Hana Yori Dango; Liar Game), Keiko Kitagawa (Buzzer Beat), Ryoko Shinohara (Unfair), Tsuyoshi Abe (Hana Yori Dango), and newcomer Chi Ling Lin, who starred in Red Cliff. From Ningin: Arashi is set to release their new single, “Monster,” on May 19, and we (Arashi fangirls and boys) are anxiously waiting its release. Luckily, the preview for it has been put on Youtube, and we rejoice. The new single is going to be the theme song for Riida’s (Leader Ohno Satoshi) new drama, Kaibutsu-kun, based on the anime. I am super excited for both and just may have possibly pre-ordered a copy, who knows. More »

From Ningin: Eva pilots all over the world can now quench their thirst in their cockpits as they battle Angels. Mokku has manufactured a new line of water bottles featuring the torsos of Asuka and Rei from the hit anime franchise, Evangelion. More »

From Ningin: From what I could gather through Babelfish and what other people are saying, people will be able to watch the Black Rock Shooter anime by streaming it. The voice actors for BRS and Dead Master have also been decided on. There’s also new merchandise available, specifically a figma and nendoroid for BRS. More »

From Ningin: The seventh Durarara DVD is going to be released on August 25th! Celebrate? Hell no. Alongside the episode that will be appearing on April 8th (Episode 13) there will be an exclusive never-before-seen side story from the never-before-recreated original novel.
