Kazunari Ninomiya of Arashi turns 27 today! He does not look 27 at all thus fans call him “Forever 17.” He is at the peak of his popularity. He is starring in several movies such as Gantz (which is two movies) and Ohoku (based on a manga). Kaibutsu-kun gets one step closer to getting a movie. The official website Kaibutsu-kun has announced on Saturday that an all-new television special has been green-lit. The final episode of the television series has already aired, but the 90-minute “Mō Kaette Kita yo!! Kaibutsu-kun Subete Shinsaku SP” program will air on June 26. More »

Rumors say that Kaibutsu-kun will become a movie. Although ratings are down to about 13% instead of the original 15 to 17%, they say that since the series deal with a lot of family issues, there a lot of families that will probably watch it together. With Arashi’s current popularity, many of their fans would flock to the theaters to go see it. More »

You read that right, Arashi’s “Monster” was aired on New York City’s (100.3 FM) Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show crew that features previews of songs that top the charts in the United States as well as several countries all over the world. Today, they featured Japan, and it was “Monster” by Arashi that got their airtime! This show airs every Thursday morning for those in the NYC area! More »

GANTZ, a popular manga, has been filming a live action for quite a while, and it will be released in 2011. Kazunari Ninomiya, of Arashi, and Kenichi Matsuyama, better known as L, both star in the film as Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato respectively. The basis of the story is “Two young men die on the tracks of a subway station only to be summoned back to life by a mysterious black sphere known as “Gantz.” More »

Hey!Say!JUMP, a 10 member group, is set to release their first album. For those who don’t really know them, they are made up of two groups Hey!Say!7 and Hey!Say!BEST. Hey!Say!7 is made up of the younger five all under the age of 17. This one includes Ryosuke Yamada, who is in a lot of dramas and Yuri Chinen, who is a major fanboy of Ohno Satoshi, the leader of Arashi; the both of them also participate in NYC. These two get the most love since they sing the most in Hey!Say!JUMP. Hey!Say!BEST is made up of the older 5. Their oldest member is 20. Included are Yuya Takaki, who was in Gokusen 3 and Kota Yabu and Hikaru Yaotome, who were both in Ya-Ya-Yah. Hey!Say!JUMP barely performs separated into the two groups. They announced the news of their album at their concert in Yokohama, and said that the schedule hasn’t been decided yet. More »

Arashi is about to release their music video for “Monster.” I seriously screamed out loud when I found it!!! I am super excited. I already love the song to death. The song is the theme for Ohno’s Kaibutsu-kun. The music video seems creepy (in a good way!) and a lot like the video from “Truth.” More »

Arashi is the epitome of boy bands in Japan, for me personally. They are the ones that roped me in with Aiba Sugoroku, which is a board game with horrible things such as stocking heads, hot pants and ink portraits. This is why they were chosen to be the first artist of the week. More »
