I might not be a crazy fan of anime or manga, but browsing through pictures of cosplayers is one of my favourite past time. Sailor Moon and her homies (LOL)
Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children
Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler
Which cosplay was your favourite?

From Wirebot: A bundle of various Nintendo jewelry for today’s Photo of the Day. From ThirdProjectJuno, the nostalgic Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda-themed pieces caught my eye the most. But within good reason though, since these are actually pretty classy and I’m sure any gamer would be happy to sport or gift them. More »

Japanese musician Heita has made a lot of musical instruments from different vegetables and in this next video he played Legend of Zelda’s “Song of time” using a Carrot Ocarina (Ocarina is an ancient flute-like wind instrument). This past week marked the Viz Pictures release of 20th Century Boys 1 on DVD, the first in a sure-to-be-a-hit trilogy, as well as first news of Studio Ghibli’s next project. In addition, there were a wide range of subjects explored during the week ranging from japanese travel to literature and even free music (and who doesn’t like free music?). Check it out. More »
Recently, more and more video games have been getting the manga treatment and it seems the Legend of Zelda is no different. More »

Love was in the air this past week here at Rekuru with the launch of CrazySingleLife. Whether it was j-pop love songs you have to hear, the top official anime couples, or even my modest attempt to play around with cupid’s arrows, this week was all about love. In addition, Link got his train conducting on with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks which you can read a review of below. More »
