Mamora Goda’s “Mori no Asagao” Manga is soon to be adapted into Live-Action series and it is set to premiere this October on TV Tokyo network as announced on the recent issue of Manga Action. The cast, timeslot and other details are yet to be announced by Manga Action. Mori no Asagao’s story revolves around the secret friendship between a rookie prison guard and a death row felon. Goda has won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the 11th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in the year 2007 for his portrayal of the modern Japanese capital punishment system. More »

From Ningin: Shonen Gangan’s July issue sold out, thanks to the ending of a great manga/anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. However, this issue sold out so quickly that many FMA fans couldn’t get their hands on it which prompted Square Enix (the publisher of Shonen Gangan) to republish the last chapter in their September issue, coming out on August 12.
