From Ningin: The Highschool of the Dead manga has been on hiatus for over a year and it’s been announced that it will be returning along with an anime being developed. The artist for the manga has done a lot of hentai stuff and it shows in the manga with tons of blatant fan service. And there’s a lot of it. Almost every single drawing of a female character is an erotic one. I think this will do pretty well as an anime, but I’d definitely avoid watching it if there is anyone around. More »

It looks like the vampire movie craze has finally infected Japan. Higanjima, the latest film from director Kim Tae Kyun, has Japan, and Hollywood, buzzing with interest.

Based on the best-selling manga by Koji Matsumoto, Kyun brings vampiric monsters to life on a remote island set far out in a dangerous sea. Once teenager Akira hears word of his missing brother being seen on the island he brings a troupe of friends to investigate.
