From Wirebot:
The game industry moves so fast that unless you dedicate days on end to just playing games and doing nothing else, many hit titles will fly right past you. It is also hard to play everything! Not always do you have the specific console a cool game comes out exclusively on, so when you do finally get around to buying it, there is so much backlog that your brain explodes. This is where I come in. Every week I will bring you one fantastic game that is absolutely worth playing. A game that swam under the radar while all the hit titles came barreling at you. I will inform you of a game you might have missed. This week, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. More »

This year was a busy year for Nintendo’s handheld, with heaps upon heaps of games released over the course of 2009. Welcome to Plusle and Minun Reviews. You may be asking yourself why I chose these two as the face of my reviews, allow me to elaborate. Plusle (left) and Minun (right) hail from the world Pokemon and bear a striking resemblance to the license’s well known face: Pikachu. The obvious difference of course is that one has a positive appearance and the other a negative one.
By now, you’re probably scratching your head wondering, while that’s all nice and good, what does that have to do with a review? Simple. As opposed to most reviews you will find on video games, Plusle and Minun reviews are short but sweet, positives and negatives of a specific game with an overall letter grade. Rather than read pages of text, most people just want to know is it a good game? What’s good about it? And what’s not so good? Plusle and Minun Reviews is just that - a quick and easy list of the good as well as the bad. Additionally, there will always be a trailer at the end for all of you to check out because I know how much you all love trailers. With all that said and done, enjoy.
The Nintendo DS is proving to be THE platform this generation for RPG’s and today, popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, only reinforced that fact with the announcement of Estopolis (the Japanese name for Lufia). Yes RPG aficionados, more RPG goodness is on the way. The Square Enix developed remake of Lufia II, originally released on the Super Nintendo, will feature not only 3D visuals but full voice-over and a complete combat overhaul. More »
