From Wirebot:
Growing up I can remember 1, maybe 2, really great games coming out every month. I rarely felt that I was missing much when my parents refused to buy me multiple $50 games a month. Boy, am I lucky I am not growing up in today’s crowded 3 console market or I would only get to play a quarter of the great games that are getting released on a monthly basis. Within the last 2 months, well over 10 A+ games have been released across platforms, the majority of them being cross platform and a couple of them paired with peripherals that escalate the price to over $100 a pop. My question is, how is everyone collecting funds to support their favorite obsession? I’m selling text books, re-selling free curb alerts posted on craigslist, and trading in more games than I should to GameStop. More »
While gamers in Japan have been delving into the world of Dragon Quest IX for some time now, gamers here in North America have been left wondering when we’ll get to lay our dirty mitts on the new installment of Dragon Quest (or if you’re impatient like me you’ve been playing the japanese version). Women aren’t the first thing you think of when someone says ninja. More often than not, your mind jumps to men with dirty glares in black outfits. What you may or may not know, is that women played an integral role in ninja clans of the past. More »
I’m not going to lie. After seeing the overly-cutesy visuals of this game, I figured this game wasn’t for me. A grown man of all things playing a game like this! After swallowing my pride and giving the game a chance though, I discovered a fun and addicting tower defense game that’s hard to put down. More »
The Nintendo DS is proving to be THE platform this generation for RPG’s and today, popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, only reinforced that fact with the announcement of Estopolis (the Japanese name for Lufia). Yes RPG aficionados, more RPG goodness is on the way. The Square Enix developed remake of Lufia II, originally released on the Super Nintendo, will feature not only 3D visuals but full voice-over and a complete combat overhaul. More »

Welcome to Plusle and Minun Reviews. You may be asking yourself why I chose these two as the face of my reviews, allow me to elaborate. Plusle (left) and Minun (right) hail from the world Pokemon and bear a striking resemblance to the license’s well known face: Pikachu. The obvious difference of course is that one has a positive appearance and the other a negative one. More »
