From Finalfantasy14players: I’ve been diligently recording a bunch of HD videos since starting Final Fantasy XIV. I’m thinking it would be fun to record the big battle sequences that we do, such as high level levequests. The whole battle process can be pretty chaotic with a bunch of people and a bunch of monsters but also quite exhilarating. This particular video is a level 10 levequest, Foresting Emrald Moss, from the Gridania’s Adventurer’s guild. It begins and ends in Camp Emerald Moss. We basically have to kill a handful of high level monsters. At the time this video was taken, I was quite new to these levequests so things may seem a jerky. You’ll still get the gist of it and if nothing else, you’ll once again see the gorgeous graphics at work. Enjoy! More »

From Finalfantasy14players: I still haven’t really gotten into the Final Fantasy 14 game since I got it last week. Been busy with work and these intros are just so fun to watch. Depending on which starting city you choose for yourself, you get a different intro movie. They’re all so epically cool that I keep remaking my characters and watching them over and over. Since the vast, vast majority of my writers and friends can’t even run this game I thought I would do everyone a solid and make a HD recording of the video. Starting with Gridania, I’ll be posting the intros for all three starting cities! Now you finally see what all the great fuss is about. Enjoy! More »

Arashi teased us a real long time ago, and then they released the short version, and finally the full version is out for “Monster.” When I first saw the short version, I thought it was going to be just like “Truth,” but it’s not! It’s kind of trippy actually. More »

From Crazysinglelife: According to Satoshi Kanazawa, evolutionary psychologist for the London School of Economics, there is a proven mathematical theorem for why dating (and finding a job) in a large urban area is difficult and frustrating. Those currently single in large cities need not PhD to validate this theorem, but it’s interesting how Kanazawa explains the dating-in-a-big-city conundrum in this video:

From Ningin: George Nozuka, a 23-year-old Japanese Canadian is the older brother of singer Justin Nozuka – a singer songwriter Jinra’s heart is beating for. George Nozuka can sing, dance, play the piano and guitar, and it shows in his many music videos. I actually like George more than Justin. His music he makes is very catchy and amazing, so amazing that I can listen to one of his track all day long. It’s that good! More »
