From Wirebot: Nintendo is planning to build a new research and development facility in Kyoto, Japan. A previous report by Nikkei has announced Nintendo’s plans for it in 2009 and a small follow up in March, but now it seems as though it is actually happening. More »

From Wirebot: Record lows for sales of the 3DS and Wii came across during the week ending May 15th. Media Create claims that total hardware sales decreased by 38 percent week-over-week. It will certainly be bad readings for Nintendo. More »

Arashi is definitely one of the top groups of Japan, which is why they are raking in the endorsement and commercials. They have been doing CMs for the Nintendo Wii for a while, and now they have released two more for the “Wii Sports Resort: Wii Remote Controller Plus Pack” starring Satoshi Ohno and Masaki Aiba. They are adorable as always. Also, I think they should make a special fishing one for Ohno if they haven’t already yet. The pack goes on sale November 11th if anyone was interested.
